So, back again

Sorry for not posting for so long.
I'm back in Germany again and busy in my next project which takes me to Hannover.

Although I do miss Hong Kong with it's pleasant weather and all the wonderful people I've meet there,
Nothing can cope with the time I can now spend with my family. :-)

We've spent a great time in the Austrian Alps just before Christmas and the kids learned to ski!

 
We were sooo lucky with the weather and snow...

And Christmas at my parents place was very enjoyable...

Finally new years eve we had a nice party at a friends place. 

Delicious dinner with a chocolate fountain for desert... awesome!

I am very much looking forward to what 2012 has to offer...

No more Hong Kong for me...

As of today I am finished with my project in Hong Kong.









I spent 11 months on that little but oh so crowded island in the Pacific Ocean.
It was great while it lasted, but I am glad to be home again.

My next assignment is some what closer to home. Hannover it is.

But first I want to spend some quality time with my family and friends. I was away far to long and it is time for a catch up.

Oh before I forget: I am looking for a squash partner in Hannover again.
Starting on the 24. of October I want to play a game or 2 while I am there.

Any volunteers?

I had a looooooong flight home! 

Flying with Emirates via Dubai took me some 28 hours! 

Due to sandstorms over Dubai all international flights got delayed.

BUT as I could use the Business Class Lounge waiting was kind of bearable...

Now that I am at home at last I love spending quality time with my kids. :-)

Let's see what happens in the next weeks...

On my way home again

It has been 3 weeks Hong Kong now and I am finally sitting at the airport to get home again,

Tomorrow at 6:30pm I will land in Frankfurt.

Can't wait to see my little family again!

It has been now 3 weeks that I have been in Hong Kong.
Yesterday I returned and my family picked me up from the airport.
That felt great to see them all again.

now I have 1 week at home and I will be off again for another 4 weeks.
Hope to arrange a visit from my family there. I guess there should be enough for them to keep them busy during the day... :-)

Back home again

Being back is GREAT!
I missed my family at least as much as they missed me!
:-)
Non the less my workload has not decreased at ALL!

Oh well. Let's get started then!

Heading home again today

One week in Springfield, MA went by sooo fast.
Strange what effect work load can have on your time-awareness.

BUT: Coming home feels even better :-)

Back home again

I arrived late Friday morning after spending a night on the flight back home.
sleeping on planes is not that much a fun as one might think... 2 beers did help a little though :-)


Will propably be back in the US on the 23rd. of August.

Let's see how long my shopping list will be this time ;-)
