Holiday half way over

1 Week is just not enough.
It started on Monday, and now it is Wednesday nite already.
OK, I hade a great afternoon with the kids. we went swimming in a nearby city pool, but only 2 more "working days" and my holiday is officialy over again.
AND I STILL HAVE SOOO MUCH TO DO IN THE HOUSE!

Oh well, the next holiday is only 2 weeks away

It's Thursday and it feels like the last day in the week :-)
Tomorrow I will have a nice day at the office with all my colleagues, then I will go home and start my 1 week holiday.
Is about time. There is soooo much to do at home.

Keller ausmisten

Endlich haben wir das Projekt "Keller" mal angegangen.
6 Kisten mit unnötigen Unterlagen entsorgt. Tonnen kleiner Kisten und Päckchen weggeschmissen. Die Papiertonne ist schon randvoll...
WELCH ERLEICHTERUNG!!

At last we started the project "Clear the basement"! At least 6 big boxes full of old an useless documents... GONE!
What a good feeling :-)

Immer wieder Freitags...

Es war eine lange Woche mit elend viel Arbeit...
Daher bin ich froh, dass es wieder Freitag ist und ich mehr Zeit mit meiner Familie verbringen kann.
Bin gespannt wie die nächste Woche sein wird.
Deadline für mein Konzept beim Kunden ist Donnerstag und bis dahin ist noch viel zu schreiben.

Have been away from home 5 days now. It is about time to come home again.
OK, I try to give the kids a good night kiss via skype and cam, but that is not the same...

Homeoffice today

Diese Woche haben wir unser neues Büro bezogen.
Da aber die Telefon- und Netzgesellschafft Probleme haben..... Da bleib ich lieber daheim. Da hab ich superschnelles Internet und freies Telefon :-)

Hexenschuss... Passt zur Halloween-Zeit

Irgendwie scheint der "Wurm" drin zu sein. Kaum lassen die Schmerzen des letzten Hexenschusses nach... BANG! Schießt das Weib mir wieder ins Kreuz.

Ok das passt gut zur Jahreszeit... Ist ja schließlich Halloween :-)
Also leide ich passend zur Jahreszeit und laufe demütig-gebeugt durch die herbstlichen Strassen.

Wochenend und Sonnenschein

zumindest war ein Teil des Wochenendes sonnig.
Samstag: meine Familie war aktiv beim 2. Oberwöllstädter Dorflauf beiteiligt.
Lea: Rang 4 in ihrer Altersgruppe beim 'Kidsrun' über 400m
Niclas: Rang 1 in seiner Altersgruppe (ok er war der jüngste Starter, aber toll GELL?)
Miriam: 33min über 5000m
Stefan: Babysitter während Miriam gelaufen ist... (einer musste sich doch um die Kids kümmern ;-) )

Sonntag: Struwelpeter fest an der Schule. Die Kids mussten rund 10 Stationen mit Themen von E.A Hofmann bewältigen. Suppenkaspar, Zappelphillip um nur einige zu nennen.
Dazu gab es lecker Kaffee, Kuchen und Worscht. :-)

Da heute ja der heißeste Tag des Jahres werden soll (erwartete 37°) sollten wir "schaffenden" dies doch aufleben lassen.
Dies besonders für all die, welche ohne Klimaanlage auskommen dürfen...

Bin gerade fast Opfer des grassierenden, im MSN-Messenger verbreitenden Virus "myalbum2007" (o.ä.) geworden.
OK es ist mehr ein Trojaner... das macht es aber nicht besser.
Diskutiert wurde dies im Trojaner-Board
Hoffe es wird keiner von Euch befallen.

Hoherodskopf Ausflug

Meine Frau und Kids sind gerade unterwegs zum Hoherodskopf, also dem Gipfel des Vogelsbergs.
Wär gern mitgefahren, doch die Arbeit... ;-)
Das nächste Mal fahren wir aber gemeinsam und machen ein Rennen auf der Sommerrodelbahn.
Hatte da schon viel Spass und hab schon Schweiß und Blut dort vergossen :-)

Camping

Tomorrow we will go for a 3 day camping trip to a neat camping site near our home. Here you can take a look.
The weather is said to be jus right. Warm during the day and cooler at night.

As my wife got some infection and needs some treatment in hospital, I have the honour to play house keeping for some days.
You realy learn to woreship the workload your lady does all day long...
RESPECT!
Here just a few tasks for a regular day:
-the kids
-the dishes
-the laundry
-mopping the floor
-the shopping
-the cooking
-the swadding (thank god only during nights now :-) )
-the "house accontung"

Weekend in New York

I had a fabulous day in the big apple.
The sun was shining, it was not too hot and not too cold, millions of people were with me on the streets, the Puerto Rico-folks were having a party on 5Ave and on 3Ave merchants were praising their goods from all over the world. A true melting pot and yes: this city NEVER sleeps.

I'm back in Springfield, MA.
The weather was nice yesterday but has turned over night. It is constantly raining and it has become cooler (which is better for a good nights sleep :-) ).
